6. Automatic Subscription Renewal

To help participating businesses maintain uninterrupted directory visibility, paid listing subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing period.

Where automatic renewal is selected and expressly authorized, the subscription will continue unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

The renewal period and recurring charges will be clearly disclosed before enrollment.

Unless otherwise agreed, renewal will generally occur for the same subscription duration at the agreed price.

Any proposed price changes will be communicated in advance, and additional consent will be obtained where legally required.

Advertisers may cancel future automatic renewals without cancellation penalties.

Cancellation may be requested through our designated website contact facility or another cancellation method provided during enrollment.

Cancellation will prevent subsequent renewal charges when received before the applicable renewal deadline.

7. Liberal Cancellation Policy

We believe that advertising relationships should be fair and flexible.

Participating businesses may request cancellation of their paid listings at any time.

We do not impose additional cancellation penalties.

Advertisers may request immediate listing removal or allow the listing to remain active until the end of the current paid subscription period.

Cancellation requests will be acknowledged and processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Cancellation does not automatically reverse charges for services already delivered.

Any applicable refund will be determined under our Refund Policy and mandatory legal requirements.

8. Fair and Reasonable Refund Policy

BeautySalonsVancouver.com aims to maintain positive commercial relationships with participating salon owners.

For standard prepaid directory listings:

Before publication: Advertisers may request a full refund if no advertising services have been delivered.

Within seven calendar days after publication: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for the unused portion of their prepaid subscription.

After seven calendar days: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for unused full calendar days remaining in the prepaid listing period.

Refunds will generally be calculated according to the unused portion of the agreed advertising period.

Separately priced custom promotional services already completed may be excluded from refunds if disclosed in advance and permitted by law.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 15 calendar days.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory refund rights.

9. Business Information and Listing Accuracy

Participating businesses are responsible for providing accurate and current information.

Telephone number
Website address
Services offered
Operating hours

Booking arrangements

We welcome reasonable requests to correct outdated or inaccurate information.
